This collection consists notebooks from Dr. John D. York's laboratory ("York Lab") at Duke University Medical Center from 1989 to 2004. Notebooks belong to York, as well as Shuling Guo, Jill Stevenson Paulik, B. Speigelberg, S. Mugulu, Jessie Wofford, M. Sekhon, K. Snow, W. Kuo, Jeremy Day, Jeremy Slessman, Junjie Feng, and other researchers who have worked in the York Lab during this time period. This collection also contains procedures, notes, and other files from Dr. York's office.

Dr. John D. York is a professor of biochemistry and pharmacology and cancer biology at Duke University Medical Center. He is also an invesigator for the non-profit medical research organization Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
